Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about a payment made through SecurePayPort.
Why do I see SecurePayPort on my statement?
SecurePayPort is the payment service used by the merchant where you made an online purchase. Your bank therefore shows our name, or a short descriptor starting with MNI*, instead of the merchant’s name.
The exact wording depends on your bank: some add a city or a number, or shorten the text. The amount and date match a purchase paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
I don’t recognise this charge
Don’t worry: in most cases it is a purchase made by you, or by someone close to you using the same card or phone, with a descriptor that is simply not very clear.
First check the confirmation emails received on the day of the charge (including your spam folder). If you can’t find anything, write to support with the email address you use, the date, the amount and the last 4 digits of the card: we will find the payment and tell you what it relates to.
How do I stop a subscription?
Write to support through the contact form, with the email address used, the date and amount of a charge and the last 4 digits of the card.
We find the subscription and stop it: no further renewal will take place, and we confirm it by email. If you see several charges close together that are not renewals, let us know: we will check each payment with you.
Is my card data safe?
Yes. Card details are entered and processed by our payment provider, which is certified to PCI DSS, the card industry security standard. SecurePayPort never sees or stores your full card number or security code.
We will never ask for your full card number, your security code (CVV), a code received by text message or a password, whether by email or by phone. The last 4 digits are enough to find a payment.
How quickly does support reply?
Support answers every request within 48 business hours, Monday to Friday. The reply is sent to the email address given in the form.
Should I dispute the charge with my bank?
We recommend writing to support first. A support request is usually resolved within a few days, while a bank dispute can take several weeks and may block the card concerned.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can of course still contact your bank.
What information should I provide?
To help us find your payment quickly:
- the email address used for the purchase;
- the date of the charge;
- the amount;
- the last 4 digits of the card.
If you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay, please mention it in your message: the 4 digits shown by the phone may differ from those on the card.
